Daddy Yankee

Ramon Luis Ayala Rodriguez, better known as Daddy Yankee or the KING OF REGGAETON, is a respected and acclaimed artistic giant, and a true pioneer of Reggaeton. The brilliant rapper, singer, and songwriter is from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Yankee was born February 3rd, 1976 (Aquarius). A few of his many hits include “Dura”, “Lo Que Paso, Paso”, “Con Calma”, “Limbo”, “MÉTELE AL PERREO”, and “Rompe”. Ayala was originally going to become a professional baseball player until he was shot in the leg while taking a break from a studio recording session. It was then that his entire life changed. He was on his way to making rhythms and perreo anthems that would transcend all language barriers. Yankee has won twenty-eight Billboard Latin Music Awards, among dozens of others, broken records across 3 decades, and it is an honor to finally have this legend hit our stage at Baja Beach Fest.

Wisin y Yandel

Juan Luis Morera Luna "Wisin" and Llandel Veguilla Malavé "Yandel" make up el Duo de la Historia or Los Extraterrestres, better known by the world as Wisin y Yandel! This monumental Puerto Rican reggaeton duo created timeless tracks that bump worldwide and trigger arguably the best perreo in the land. Their global known anthems like "Rakata", "Sexy Movimiento", “Pam Pam”, "Abusadora", among several others have been a dream of ours to have pulsating through the sand as they perform live at Baja Beach Fest. Wisin y Yandel have brought home dozens of massive awards across Premios lo Nuestro, the Latin Grammys, Billboard Latin Music Awards, and more. The most notable is that they are the first and the only Reggaeton artists to win a Grammy. Before getting together to form one of the genre's most successful Latin music acts, Wisin was studying theater/acting, while Yandel worked as a barber.

Maluma

Juan Luis Londono Arias better known as Maluma or the Pretty Boy, emerged from Medellin, Colombia. Was born on January 28, 1994 (Aquarius). Maluma was passionate about making music at a young age and started recording by 16. He has since released three record-breaking albums that have debuted at #1 on the Billboard Latin Albums list: Pretty Boy Dirty Boy, F.A.M.E. and 11:11. Maluma is the youngest artist to simultaneously obtain # 1 and # 2 on Billboard’s “Latin Airplay'' list. Not to mention, the Colombian took home “Artist of the Year” at Premios lo Nuestro in 2017 and he is one of less than 30 performing artists who have garnered over 25 million Youtube followers. Some of his record-breaking hits include “Hawái”, “HP”, and “11 PM”. Interesting Fact: The name Maluma is a combination of the two first letters of the names of his mother Marlli, his father Luis and his sister in Manuela.

Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago known professionally as Anuel AA was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico on November 26, 1992 (Sagittarius). The rapper and singer is known for hits like “Ella Quiere Beber”, “La Jeepeta”, “Keii”, “Reggaetonera” amongst many others. Anuels flow, aggressive lyrics, and unique vocals have brought his name to the top of the music charts worldwide numerous times. The talented boricua was one of the most listened to artists in 2019 on Spotify with more than 130 million listeners on the platform. And has earned over 10 awards just in the last two years.

Farruko

Carlos Efren Reyes, known by the world as Farruko is a respected and talented Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, producer and businessman. Farru was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico on May 2, 1991 (Taurus). Farruko is in the top 10 Latin artists listened to worldwide. His powerful vocals, positive vibes, and strong stage presence are top-tier in the industry. Farru joined us back in 2018 for year 1 and again in 2021 for year 3; both times he had the entire crowd dancing and singing at the top of their lungs. We can’t wait to have this master back in Baja.

Banda MS

The Banda MS of Sergio Lizárraga also known as Banda MS is a Sinaloense banda music group created in the city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, in the year of 2003.  Known for their innumerable hits, some of them, "La Mejor Version De Mi", "Mi Razón De Ser", "Hermosa Experiencia", among many others, this musical group has won 41 awards and around 80 nominations for its incredible regional legacy. The acronym MS in its name comes from the initials of Mazatlán Sinaloa. One of the founders and member of the group was Julión Álvarez.

Myke Towers

Michael Torres, aka Myke Towers, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and composer with a dope vibe and impressive artistry. Towers was born January 15, 1994, in Puerto Rico (Capricorn). His hits “Si Se Da”, “La Playa”, “Piensen”, and more went viral across borders and oceans. With more than 5.4 billion views on YouTube, Myke Towers is a heavy hitter in the Reggaeton and Latin Music scene. He recently received a nomination for New Artist of the Year at the 2021 Latin American Music Awards, in addition to two other nominations for the “Favorite Song - Urban” and “Collaboration of the Year” categories.

Natanael Cano

Natanael Ruben Cano Monje also known as “El Rey De Los Trap Corridos” was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, on May 1st, 2001 (Taurus). His single “El Drip” was a hit on YouTube, trended # 3, and in less than two days it achieved more than a million views. His album "MI NUEVO YO" debuted at number one in Mexico. He dropped out of school to become fully dedicated to music, and as his music reaches charts, crosses borders and oceans, he is proving himself to be a real player in the game.

Enmanuel Herrera Batista, better known as El Alfa or El Jefe, is a legendary Dominican Dembow and Reggaeton artist who brilliantly composes energy-filled and rhythmic hits perfect for perreando en la playa. Alfa has released viral hits like “La Mamá de la Mamá”, “Curazao”, “Suave”, “Coronao”, “La Romana” with Bad Bunny, amongst several other bangers.

Carlos Isaias Morales Williams born on December 3rd, 1993, professionally known as Sech, caught the world by surprise with his smooth vocals and raw talent. The Panamanian reggaetonero garnered millions of fans and over a billion listens with his hits “Si Te Vas”, “Otro Trago”, and “Sigues con El”. We’re hyped to have his melodic voice, kind soul, and lively energy back in Baja.

Chencho Corleone

Orlando Javier Valle Vega, more popularly referred to as Chencho Corleone, is known for making up half of the famous duo, Plan B. Chencho was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico and has been involved in music since his teen years. Since then he has collaborated with Daddy Yankee, Natti Natasha, Lunay, Arcangel, and many more. His most recent hits “La Llevo Al Cielo” and “El Efecto” con Rauw Alejandro quickly went viral and helped him establish himself as an independent artist. Between the hits from Plan B and his more recent work, Chencho is ready to bring fire to the Baja stage.

Jesus Manuel Nieves Cortez, artistically known as Jhay Cortez is a brilliant Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. Jhay has stormed the Latin music world with his beasty talent. Cortez’s top hits include tracks like Costear, Dakiti with Bad Bunny, Ley Seca with Anuel, No Me Conoce, Easy, Medusa, Imaginaste, and Como Se Siente. His songs have spread all across the globe, leading to record-breaking numbers for the young artist. The industry has been sparked with excitement for what’s yet to come from the skillful Cortez.

Austin Agustín Santos was born in New York, December 23, 1985 (Capricorn), better known by his stage name Arcángel "La Maravilla", American singer and rapper with Puerto Rican and Dominican descent. The global phenomenon was a member of the duo Arcángel & De la Ghetto where they crafted great hits such as: “Agresivo”, “Sorpresa” and “Fanática”. Arcangel is a super well respected creative pioneer with unique vocals and a one-of-a-kind flow. We are hyped to have this urban and versatile musical beast hit the Baja stage this summer!

Natalia Alexandra Gutiérrez Batista, famously known as Natti Natasha, was born on December 10th, 1986 (Sagittarius) in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. The versatile Dominican gem has collaborated with icons like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Becky G, Nicky Jam, Farruko, and Ozuna to name a few. Natti has topped the Charts of Mexico, Argentina, and the United States, and generated billions of streams on Youtube along the way.

Jefnier Osorio Moreno, famously known as Lunay is a young and undeniably talented urban/latin trap singer from Puerto Rico. The now globally renowned urban artist caught the attention of the world with his smooth delivery and exceptional vocals. Lunay’s massive collaborations with artists like Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, Anuel, & more in addition to his charted singles, have earned him a respected spot on the global Latin music scene at the young age of 19.

Gabriel Armando Mora Quintero, who goes professionally by Mora, was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter is known for hits like Pegaté, Volando with Bad Bunny y Sech, 512 with Jhay Cortez, Una Vez with Bad Bunny, Primer Dia de Clases, Cuando Sera, & the list of hits goes on and on. Mora worked closely with Benito on YHLQMDLG and wrote the songs “La Dificíl” and “Solia”. Mora dropped his first album Primer Dia de Clases in 2021, and quickly paved his way onto the charts and into the hearts of millions of fans. We are excited to have this talented Boricua join us again, for Baja Beach Fest 2022.

José Angel López Martínez, better known by his stage name, Jay Wheeler, was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico on April 25th, 1994. Wheeler has collaborated with big players in the industry such as Rauw Alejandro, Myke Towers, and Farruko, among others. Known by hundreds of millions for his rhythm and catchy romantic flow. Wheelers hits include “La Curiosidad” with Myke Towers, “Sin Ti”, and “Otra Noche Mas” with Farruko.

Nicki Nicole

Nicole Denise Cucco, artistically known as Nicki Nicole, is a singer and songwriter of pop, soul and urban music who was born on August 25, 2000 in the city of Rosario, Argentina. Her debut single "Wapo Traketero" is one of her most popular songs, reaching more than 100 million views on YouTube. This theme, along with "No Toque Mi Naik" (with Lunay) were presented on the Jimmy Fallon show in April 2021. Her most popular song is "Mamichula" with rapper Trueno. In this song they also made their relationship known.

Jowell & Randy

Joel Muñoz and Randy Ortiz emerged from Puerto Rico as Jowell & Randy. This renowned Reggaeton duo is known for their high energy, irresistible beats, and ability to make charting tracks meant for puro party y perreo. Jowell & Randy have received six awards out of eleven nominations. Some of their top tracks include: the famous “Se acabo la cuarentena”, "Agresivo" with Arcángel, "No Te Veo" a 2009 hit that went worldwide, among many others. Jowell is the one who takes care of the economic and business aspects, in addition to focusing on the lyrics of their songs, while Randy focuses more on working in the studio, looking for new sounds. Both are known for being fun and unforgettable performers.

Tokischa Altagracia Peralta, known professionally as just Tokischa, is a Dominican Rapper who was born in Santo Domingo, DR, March 17th of 1996. She became known after publishing ‘Linda’ in collaboration with Rosalia, which nearly broke records after receiving an average of 500,000 daily worldwide streams on Spotify.

Junior H (Antonio Herrera Perez) was born in Guanajuato in central Mexico in 2002 singer, songwriter, and guitarist Junior H is among the progenitors of the urban corrido movement. His sound is dominated by requinto and reedy baritone. Junior's audio-only videos for the songs "Disfruto Lo Malo" and "Ella" (with Cano), racked up 18 and 32 million views, respectively.

Denis Omar Aponte Rivera, better known as Omy de Oro, was born on August 13, 1995 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. Omy is a singer of the urban genre, reggaeton and trap, who has achieved musical success with songs such as "Estadia", "Don't be scared", "Lalú", "Miami", "Temblar", among others.  He is currently considered one of the great promises of music internationally.

Ryan Castro

Bryan Castro Sosa born January 14, 1994 in Medellín, Colombia, better known as Ryan Castro, is a Colombian singer and songwriter of the urban genre. In 2017, he ventured into music with the single Morena. Later he became known sponsored by Kelvín Roldan. Among his songs stand out: “Dime”, “1994”, “Lejanía”, “Chupable” and “Medellín”. Currently, Castro is considered one of the new faces of the so-called neighborhood reggaeton.
